GLR-20 resin is a modified resorcinol formaldehyde resin used as a methylene acceptor adhesive. It does not contain free formaldehyde and has a very low vapor pressure, greatly reducing the problems of smoking and weight loss that occur when using resorcinol monomers at processing temperatures above 150 ℃. This resin reacts with methylene donors such as hexamethylenetetramine, hexamethylenetriamine (RA, RA-65, GLR806), and 2-nitro-2-methyl-1-propanol to form a thermosetting resin, which can effectively bond rubber and skeleton materials.

Application

1. GLR-20 resin can be used as a methylene acceptor adhesive in the meta methyl white system, and can completely replace resorcinol monomers. By reacting with methylene donors to produce adhesion, it is used for bonding rubber and skeleton materials; GLR-20 resin can also be used as an additive for phenolic resin, reducing processing time and lowering processing temperature. Its application scope includes: production of sandpaper, grinding wheels, clutch equipment, plywood adhesives, etc.
2. The recommended usage ratio is to use 2-5 parts of GLR-20 resin per 100 parts of rubber material, combined with 2-5 parts of rubber adhesive RA, RA-65, GLR806 or other methylene donors. In the absence of a methylene donor, GLR-20 resin does not have adhesive properties.

Packing & Storage

1. The GLR-20 resorcinol formaldehyde resin is packaged in paper bags lined with polyethylene plastic bags. The net weight is 25Kg per package.
2. Before transportation and storage, it is necessary to check whether the product packaging is intact and undamaged. During storage, it should be classified and stored in a dry, clean, and cool warehouse. Although the product is non hygroscopic, it is still necessary to strictly prevent the product from getting damp and deteriorating.
3. The effective storage period is one year.
