The rubber adhesive RA-72 is composed of 72% hexamethoxymethyl melamine and a loading agent, and belongs to the methylene donor adhesive. It is used in conjunction with methylene acceptors to bond rubber with skeleton materials such as steel wire.

Application

The rubber adhesive RA-72 produces adhesive properties by reacting with methylene acceptors, such as rubber adhesive RE, rubber adhesive GLR20, etc., to form thermosetting resins. This reaction will occur quickly at the vulcanization temperature. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the bonding effect of the mating system will be greatly reduced or even lost. Usually, a mixture of rubber filler and methylene acceptor is prepared at a higher temperature, and then during the final refining stage of rubber mixing, rubber adhesive RA72 is added together with accelerator and sulfur.
The recommended ratio is 2-5 parts of rubber adhesive RA-72 per 100 parts of rubber material, combined with 2-5 parts of GLR-20 resin.

Packing & Storage

The outer packaging of rubber adhesive RA-72 is a woven bag, paper bag, or valve bag with an attached film, and the inner packaging is a polyethylene plastic bag. The net packaging is 25KG per bag.
Before transportation and storage, it is necessary to check whether the product packaging is intact and undamaged.
During transportation and storage, products should be classified and stored in dry, clean, and cool warehouses to prevent moisture, heat, and spoilage.
The effective storage period is one year.
