Rubber adhesive RA-65 is a mixture of 65% hexamethoxymethyl melamine and a loading agent, belonging to the methylene donor adhesive. It is used in conjunction with methylene acceptors to bond rubber with skeleton materials such as steel wire.

Application

1. The rubber adhesive RA-65 produces adhesive properties by reacting with methylene acceptors, such as rubber adhesive RE and resorcinol formaldehyde resin GLR-20, which react to form thermosetting resins. This reaction will occur quickly at the vulcanization temperature. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the bonding effect of the mating system will be greatly reduced or even lost. Usually, a mixture of rubber, fillers, and methylene acceptors is prepared at a higher temperature, and then during the final refining stage of rubber mixing, the rubber adhesive RA-65 is added together with a promoter and sulfur.
2. The recommended ratio is 2-5 parts of rubber adhesive RA-65 for every 100 parts of rubber material, combined with 2-5 parts of GLR-20 resin.

Packing & Storage

1. The outer packaging of rubber adhesive RA-65 is a woven bag or paper bag, and the inner packaging is a polyethylene plastic bag, with a net weight of 25Kg per package
2. Before transportation and storage, it is necessary to check whether the product packaging is intact and undamaged. During storage and transportation, products should be classified and stored in dry, clean, and cool warehouses to prevent them from getting damp or deteriorating due to heat.
3. The effective storage period is one year.
