Rubber adhesive RA

The main components of rubber adhesive RA are hexamethylenetriamine (adhesive A) and inorganic carrier, which is a solid methylene donor adhesive. It is used in conjunction with methylene acceptors to fully bond rubber with skeleton materials such as steel wire.

Application

1. Rubber adhesive RA produces adhesive effect by reacting with methylene acceptors. For example, it reacts with rubber adhesive RE, resorcinol formaldehyde resin GLR-20, etc. to produce thermosetting resin. This reaction will occur quickly at the vulcanization temperature. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the bonding effect of the mating system will be greatly reduced or even lost. Usually, a mixed rubber compound consisting of rubber, filler, and methylene acceptor is prepared at a higher temperature, and then during the final refining stage of rubber mixing, rubber adhesive RA is added together with accelerator and sulfur.
2. The recommended ratio is 2-5 parts of rubber adhesive RA for every 100 parts of rubber material, combined with 2-5 parts of GLR-20 resin.

Packing & Storage

1. The rubber adhesive RA is packaged in a woven bag and lined with a polyethylene plastic bag, with a net weight of 25kg per package.
2. Before transportation and storage, it is necessary to check whether the product packaging is intact and undamaged. During storage and transportation, products should be classified and stored in dry, clean, and cool warehouses to prevent them from getting damp or deteriorating due to heat.
3. The effective storage period is one year.
